The current version 6.1 of SongBook+ requires a device with at least iOS 13.

If you try to install SongBook+ on a device with older iOS, a message appears that you should update to iOS 13 first.

Unfortunately, however, not all iPads can be updated to iOS 13 or later.

iPad 1,2,3,4 and iPad Mini 1,2,3 and iPad Air 1 unfortunately do not support it.

What now?

Variant 1:

If you have another device (iPhone, iPad or Mac) available, which is new enough to install the current SongBook+ version, install SongBook+ there first with your Apple ID.

After successful installation on this other device, you can also delete SongBook+ there right away if you don't want it there. It is already enough, if Apple knows that you had already installed SongBook+ once on a device with your Apple ID.

Now you can also install SongBook+ on an older device that no longer supports the current version of SongBook+. To do that, search SongBook+ in the AppStore app in the list of your purchases and download it from there. You will then be asked in the AppStore app when downloading if you want to install a version compatible with the device instead of the current version.

Variant 2:

If you don't have another device (iPhone, iPad or Mac) that is new enough to temporarily install the current SongBook+ version, please contact our support.

There you will receive a voucher code, which you can enter on a Windows PC in the iTunes software (where you are logged in with your Apple ID). On a Mac, you can redeem the voucher code using the Music app. (On older Mac's that still have iTunes, also in iTunes).

Important: Directly on the iPad, which is too old to install the current version of SongBook+, the voucher code cannot be redeemed either!

After entering the code, you can find SongBook+ in the AppStore app in the list of purchases. Download it from there.
